  Polynomial
Polynomial :- A term or group of terms is called a polynomial. In which the variable numbers present and the power of variable numbers are always whole numbers and in which the number of terms is fixed.
For example :- x ,    x² + 5 ,    x³ - 3

Degree of a polynomial: - The greatest exponent of variable numbers or constant numbers present in a polynomial is called the degree of a polynomial.
For example :- The degree of the polynomial in x³ + 12x² + 3x - 7 is 3.
The degree of the polynomial in 2 y² + 5 is 2 .
Note :- If there is nothing on any digit in the polynomial, then its degree is zero (0) and that of the integer is 1.

• Zeroes of polynomial: - The value or values of the variable number or variable numbers present in a polynomial  replaced in that polynomial, the value of that polynomial becomes zero, it or those are the zeroes of the polynomial. It is said

# Types of polynomials base on term -
1. Monomial
For example :-
 x , y²  , x³  , 5x⁴ , 2z²
2. Binomial
For example :-
 x² +  5 ,   3x² + 7 ,   5z² - 7
3. Trinomial
For example :-
 x + y + z ,  3x² + 5x + 7

# Types of polynomials base on degree -
1. Linear Polynomial
For example :-
5x  +7  ,     7y - 8
2. Quadratic Polynomial
For example :-
3x² + 4x + 2    ,   5z² + 2z + 5
3. Cubic Polynomial
For example :-
x³ + 3x² + 5x + 2 ,   5x³ - 2x² + 4x - 4

  What is Equation?
Ans :-  A statement showing equality between two quantities is called an equation.

Or ,
An equation is a mathematical statement expressed with the help of symbols which states that two things are equal or equivalent.
